We are looking for an experienced and passionate Software Tester to join our team! As a Software Tester at our company, you will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects and develop your career.
Job Requirements
- 0-2 years’ Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
- Familiar with Automated and Manual Testing
- Proven experience/knowledge in Programming, testing tools and testing methodologies
- Hands-on technical experience in testing of software projects
- Experience in Logging/Tracking and verifying product defects
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Familiar with Software development life cycle
- Familiar with preparing and presenting test reports
- Exposure to Selenium/RC
- Exposure to JIRA, TestRail or related tools.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
Job Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate should have software development/test experience with designing, developing, managing, shipping products and have excellent coding and debugging skills
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Review and analyze system specifications
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects
- Report bugs and errors to development teams
- Help troubleshoot issues
- Conduct release and post-implementation testing
- Excellent logical reasoning, problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work well independently
- Strong communication collaboration and influencing skills to drive change
Skills and Education
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (B.Tech/B.E.)or a related field
- High-level analytical skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience in developing automation using scripting and coding languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Perl etc.)
- Experience in REST API, SOAP or related
- Experience with any software test frameworks
- Familiarity with working in a global software team in an agile environment
